Basic Questions from Organizers:​​

Q: What is the site to register to the event for approval?

A: kindly visit the website www.sers.ae, then register your company after that you can submit the event you're planning to organize.

  

Q: What are the documents required to register a company?

A:  Private Sector: A valid UAE trade license and the basic company details (contact details of MD, Owner of the company, Etc.,)

      Public Sector: Basic entity information.

      School & University:  Passport copy of the principal/Dean and the Sports coordinator of the institute and the basic information of the School /University.

 

Q: what is the next step after registering the company?

A: Once you register the company please validate your email Id by clicking the link sent to your register email ID. If you haven't received any link to your email, please check your junk/Spam box if not please contact us on: [email protected]

 

Q: when will the company be approved if I register in www.sers.ae?

A: if all the details and the documents submitted is verified by DSC, then the company will be approved in maximum 1 business working day(Sunday- Thursday)

 

Q: what are the documents I need to submit while registering the event?

A: Event logo* (compulsory to register an event)

     Venue confirmation document, event budget sheet, National Federation, Dubai Police, RTA, Civil Defense (can submitted later, based on the request from the DSC)

 

Q: How long it will take to get an approval for an event?

A: if all the documents and the details  submitted in the system as per the request from DSC, then it will take maximum 1 hour during official working hours from (Sunday- Thursday)

 

Q; How to update my company trade license in SERS?

A: please login to registered www.sers.ae account à Menu tab à my profile à edit à upload the renewal TL à change the trade license expiry date  à save.

 

Q: How to update company contact details?

A: please login to registered www.sers.ae account à Menu tab à my profile à edit à can update all the details(except registered email ID) à save.

 

Q: How to change the registered  email ID?

A: in any case if the registered email Id in SERS is not valid then please send an official email to : [email protected]

 

Q: Where will I find my NOC in  SERS ?

A: once the event is approved the NOC will be sent to your registered email and also you can find the NOC in www.sers.ae in the respective events details.

 

Q; if the event is cancelled after I register the event in SERS?

A: please send an official email to [email protected] with a brief reason for cancelling the event. so the registered event in SERS will be cancelled.

 

Q; what is the procedure, if I want to move the event date/Location after I receive the NOC?

A: please send an official email to [email protected] in regards to the amendments with a valid reason. So the NOC will be amended.

 

Q; what if there is a similar type of sports which I organize on the same day of my event?

A; please send an official email to [email protected]. They will guide you.

 

Q; Should my trade license be only  from Dubai?

A; trade license from different emirates is also valid to conduct a sport event in Dubai.  

 

Q; if I don't have a company registered in UAE and I want to organize an event, then what is the procedure?

A: in this case, you can tie-up with any local event management company to organize an event and get all the necessary approvals.

 

Q: is there any fees related to the NOC?

A; the NOC is free of charge.
